Honed from running the Tante Marie Culinary Academy wine courses over many years, my one day course provides an excellent pathway to a detailed knowledge of wine.
After an exciting day you’ll be tasting like a pro, understand the structure of wine (works), know the major grape varieties and the world’s major vineyards and, wait for it, be able to identify them in the glass!
You’ll be able to judge quality and value; making buying wine far easier, not to mention navigating those confusing restaurant wine lists. Covering still and sparkling wines, the course includes how wines are made, ageing potential, storage, decanting and food and wine matching. Printed information packs and maps are provided.
